Our financial institution uses Web Connect for Quicken/Quickbooks. Web Connect is simply a way to download your transactions from our website and import them into Quicken or Quickbooks. There is no real communication going on between your Quicken/Quickbooks software and our bank.
If you follow the appropriate instructions that follow, you will not be asked to choose our bank from a list or be required to enter a user ID and password within Quicken or Quickbooks.
